The waxed hard cards from BP work well for me in my 16ga. I am using the Alcan wads from Precision Reloading for my 28ga and they are great.

I load chedditte hulls trimmed to 67mm in my double guns with a load of 14gr PP, claybuster 7/8oz wad and 7/8oz shot and they load great and are my favorite clays load in 16ga.

I would be happy to have them. When I use up the plastic wads that I have now I am switching to all fiber wads just like my 16ga loads and 28ga. I am at 67356.

The load shot great for me and my squad mates even commented that it smelled good. Of course compared to the other loads I was using of ww572 and fiber wads that would be much cleaner.

You might be able to do it with 2 3/4 inch data if you roll crimp them.
