The Crispi Wildrocks are super light and comfortable. Well made and reasonably priced. Also has enough insulation for the Midwest as it starts to cool down.

I always do my patterning on the back of old blue prints and write what each load is, and keep them in the garage.

Yeh, you wouldn’t think there would be that much change from primers or that the C ...

Thanks Bret. I’m actually planning on doing a very similar load. 27grs of longshot and a Win 209 primer and it’s published at 1410 instead of 1440. I noticed some pierced Chedditte primers last season ...

There is 221 days till Nevada Chukar season so we have plenty of time for wad slitting. I have already done and loaded 2 bags of the CSD 20 and they are worth it. You can also buy them pre-slit from P ...

I have had great success loading the CSD wad in 20 ga. Does anyone load it for 16 and what do you think? Any good loads you can recommend?

What is everyone’s favorite wild Chukar load for the 16ga? I’m thinking of something around 1200 FPS with 1 1/8 oz of 6s or 7s. I really like the CSD 20 wads in my 20ga and SP12 in the big bore so thi ...

Was pretty good out west. Killed sagehen early and then went to full blown chukar season and picked up a Hun and Quail every once in a while. The best year I have had since college and was thoroughly ...

Ithaca model 37 for Nevada Chukar, Sage Grouse and the occasional Hun. Light enough to carry all day through hell but brings ample thumping to the party. Also cheap enough to use as crutch when the Ch ...

Thank for all the responses. I made it out to shoot a little this weekend and think I'm going to try some spreaders and then go from there. With the mild winter we had out west there will inevitably b ...
