I have hunted with a lot of vintage ammo, in vintage guns. It just seems right. I have had good results.

Anybody hear anything about the waterfowl edition 16 gauge browning announced but didn’t show off? Article about it on field and stream website.

That might be cool but 16ga non tox is pretty pricey ...

Fiocchi 2.5in hull, Fio-616 primer, 18 grains of PB, SG16, 1oz of shot, 1200fps, 8750 PSI

From the Ballistic products 16ga manual. Its an older issue maybe 10 years old?

Why did 4/53s take such a price jump over the last 10 years. I bought a 16ga like new in 2004 for $2100 and now I see prices for even used guns for a lot more money. New are a lot higher.

My 63 seems like its closing a little sluggish but seems clean enough it shouldn't be. Does this sound like an action spring issue?

Just picked it up. Barrel code is WKQ. Do I go by the k or Q for date. Either 63 or 78. I'm thinking 78. It looks more modern.

Danny I never seen these older ones around .
