Well, I have never cared for any Remington I have ever picked up, 31 included. The Model 12 feels perfect in my hand so that's the way I went.

I like a straight grip, they feel good to me. If you're using oil, I'd suggest going to at least 600 grit on your sanding. Definitely use a sanding block, all the way to at least 400 grit. I usuall ...
