I was using Remington nitro mags in #4. The gun loves those, throws a better pattern with them than my 12 gauge with a turkey choke. |

I just don't see a post war H&R being a 2 9/16" chamber. By that time pretty well all had switched to the 2 3/4" standard. |

Well, I have never cared for any Remington I have ever picked up, 31 included. The Model 12 feels perfect in my hand so that's the way I went. |

I like a straight grip, they feel good to me. If you're using oil, I'd suggest going to at least 600 grit on your sanding. Definitely use a sanding block, all the way to at least 400 grit. I usuall ... |
