I feel that price ($1/round) is too rich for me.

I have shot several grouse with the 12 gauge version of that load. It works very well.

I have fired said hulls thousands of times and not seen those types of failures. Other failure modes, yes.

Offhand it would appear the gun has a headspace problem with possible lock ...

I have reloaded several boxes of both lead target and steel hunting loads.

My observation is that they are simply a Cheddite hull.
