Second on Frontier pads as I've had good luck with them: oil and light rub takes off the rust and remarkably doesn't seem to affect the bluing at all. Steel wool seems less friendly to bluing by far ...

Nice photos of the sage grouse hunt! I did my first hunt for them last week, only a couple of hours, but we found one group and I managed a double on them (they are big!) with my Montana gun, an Itha ...

I use the roll crimpers with a BP vise and like it. Bit of a pain to change gauges but doable, as I roll crimp 28,24 16 and 12 gauges. It holds the shells well, once adjusted, and makes it very sim ...

In Russia, in dry cold weather, they wear all felt boots (Valenki) with rubbers added on the bottom if it's going to melt a bit and get wet. My Beans insulated boots didn't cut the mustard standing ...

Well, those ITX loads are mine and I'm going to try them on eiders tomorrow from a couple of hammer Husky's.

It's worked on Old Squaws well enough from Pieper hammer guns, so we'll see...

I've become very partial to slings and most of the shotguns I buy now have them, as well as cheek pieces when I can find them. Have become an afficianado of Belgian and German shotguns as a result. ...

The cutter works well, and had one made for my smaller gauges as well. Find myself compulsive shortening hulls as it's so much fun!

No dove shooting in NJ, but we're going for rails in the old pirogues on the 2nd. It'll be 28 ga. guns, however, one Hungarian hammer, one Spanish for me; an old Ithaca 28 for my buddy.
