My understanding is the Claybuster 7/8 oz wad is actually more ideal for a one ounce load in straight walled hulls or you need a filler to get a good crimp with 7/8 oz.

I would tend to agree with you about IMR Green probably producing higher pressures than Green Dot and thus, more consistent SD and EV numbers.
