John1,
I would bet that they aren't going to be any different than the Federal hulls used in Federal branded products.
Kinda like the HOA hulls are exactly the same as the STS/Nitro hulls.

IMHO, the Gordon System is more gimmick than anything. The basewad has a hollow space in it which flexes and cracks upon firing. I shot some B & P ammo at a 100 target sporting clays benefit shoot ... |

Yup, this is simple, Federal hull, disguised as a Remington. All Federal data works. That just made things easier. |

The 16 gauge B & P hulls never had the Gordon system. If they aren't Cheddites they are close.
The 12 gauge B & P hulls do use the Gordon system which does crack after the first firing, bu ... |

No problem, at least for me. Gualandi and B & P wads work really well in the Federal hulls.....and the hulls will reload more than twice. |

7/8 oz. loads using W572 will work in the 16 gauge, but it isn't a great combination. W572 is a bit on the slow side for 7/8 oz. unless you bring the velocity well into the 1,350+ FPS range. You will ... |

I have no experience with fiber wads using TSS. I do have a lot of experience with fiber wads with steel, lead and bismuth.
I would toss the cork and felt wads and subsitute .125 card wads and fibe ... |

If the crimp starter is popping of its mounting stud, you have the crimp starter set too low.
9000GN? That is at least a 300 shell per hour machine.
As I stated in my previous post, the adjustm ... |

8mmFan,
You cannot compare a 600 Jr. to a 9000 series machine. The 600 Jr. is a very simple tool compared to a 9000 which is a machine.
To be successful with a 9000G the adjustments you make are ... |

Thanks, but I have gotten some .125 28 ga. nitro cards. That will do just fine for 7/8 oz. loads for quite awhile. |

FWIW, Precision Reloading has all the 16 gauge wads in stock except for the DR16 and a B & P gas seal.
All Gualandi, B & P and Remington wads are available as of 8:20 AM CDT 4/19/2024 |

citori16guy,
Precision Reloading has SP16's in stock. The R16 was discontinued many years ago. |

I 100% agree with WyoChucker. Yes the DR16 is/was a very nice wad for 3/4 and 7/8 ounce loads, but since you are using Winchester CF hulls all the wads you need are available from Claybuster and Remin ... |

If you are within 0.3 grain, you are wasting time and effort trying to be exact. Why? First, because most printed velocities are rounded up or down. Second, because +/- 20 FPS isn't going to affect br ... |
