Here's a picture of my 16 ga. 870. Based on the serial number, as far as I can tell, 1962 manufacture. I picked it up a couple of years ago for $199, near Pittsburgh Pa.

I would think a 16ga A5 with a cylinder bore choke would make a fantastic quail/grouse gun. Years ago, my wife's uncle hunted wild bob whites in southeastern Indiana with a 12ga cylinder bore A5. |
