Never owned an Uggie, own a 47E and a 1620 Merkels.
I'd go with the Merkel and never look back. Your grandchildren will be using the Merkel, if not their kids. |

When I had my Citori Feather I had Griffin and Howe install a Pachmeyer Decelerator on it. Kept the orig overall LOP as it fit me fine.

| A shooter at our club was trying them at sporting clays last week in an old Rem 11 in 16ga. Would not reliably eject them either. I gave him a few boxes of RGLs and no more problems. |
