The barrel should be 27.5"

I take it the serial # starts with 68S not 685

Price will depend on condition and if it has a vent rib and to some degree what choke.

I have never considered mine to be problematic once I had it set up correctly.

I had a PW and did not like it near as much as the Mec.

Greendot Universal and 20/28 are good for 1oz loads and Bluedot will work for 1 1/8oz , yes straight wall data should work.
