Dave AZ - I just want to clarify. Did you use the DR16 in the 4 shells at ~1150 fps? Or the SG16 wad? Today I rechecked the old green dot load and it did register ~ 1200 fps.

I was using the older purple herters hulls with cheddite primers and the DR 16 wad. Lead load was #8's. I also tested some blue fiocchi hulls - no real difference than the purple herters.
