Thanks, that all makes sense. I guess in theory every load listed for 16’s in the guides are hunting loads, or informal target loads.

Yes, the 235 looks like a box lock with hammers. Mine has a full 28” length barrels. It had fluid steel barrels, but I hand load black powder shells for it. I do not shoot it as often as I should.
