| I like 17.4 gr of universal to get 1150 fps with 1 oz of shot, I loaded some up with about your load and they ran 1300 fps and were loud. I do not believe hodgdons published loads are correct. |

| finally shot it, tried 50, 60 and 70 grs of ff pyrodex, #11 cap and 1 oz of #8 shot, the 70 grs felt like a reg shotgun in my shoulder and had the best pattern, lots of fun and impressive for a 160 yr ... |
