I tried it in 65 mm hulls and it's so dense it didn't stack well. At least in straightwall hulls with SG16 or Z16.
Perhaps in tapered hulls with a 7/8th wad IDK, but I wonder if you're looking at ... |

Seems like 572 might be ideal for 1 oz in 2 1/2” hulls, with the SG16S wad. Just a thought.
B.
I've used and tested it in 65mm Cheddite hulls. It fits fine even with the regular SG16. At 1220 ... |

WSF works and I used a pile of it when Winchester CF cases were common with 1 oz. of shot and the WAA16 wad. It also worked well in the Remington RGL hull with the WAA16 wad.

I don't know whether it's a problem particular to my press, or me simply being an idiot. In any case I could not get the MEC short kit to work at all on my press for 65mm hulls. It crushed every hul ... |

I can tell you that 425gr of bismuth will fit in a 65mm Cheddite hull using 572 and SG16S wads. It will go 1200 or 1250 depending on the charge, with more or less reasonable SD/ES.
If I had to gue ... |

I had zero luck with the MEC short kit on my 600jr. It maxed the adjustment and crushed hulls with no adjustment left. Maybe I was missing something obvious and just too stupid to figure it out IDK. ... |

Looking at the map of my upcoming sharptail hunt in ND appears there will be a lot of WPA hunting, and non-tox required.
I have 10# of Bismuth shot on the way.....
Tried as an experiment in Ched ... |

Quick update. I tried 18.5 grains in the Unique load. This did not end up reducing the ES/SD as hoped. It did end up increasing the FPS more than I really anticipated.
