Well you are welcome to come to Aberdeen where the same boxes of game load has been on the shelf for at least 2 years now.

1oz gameshok $20.99 per box Runnings. Right next to it is Federal 1 1/8 o ...

The Federals are the best reloading 16 gauge hulls there are. I'm at a stalemate myself. I have a slowly dwindling supply of Federal hulls, but the ammo has gotten so insanely expensive I'm not sure w ...

It seems like a waste of time to me. It takes over 300 fps to make up the difference of a single shot size. Just run your loads with #7.5, or trade that speed for payload, and run a heavier load of #6 ...

The best fit with 7/8oz is the Remington hull. It could work well in a Federal or Fiocchi with a higher velocity load. I added an overshot card to mine, but I think I'll be going back to 1 oz loads.

It would definitely be in a gray area. #7.5 used to be a much more common size for turkey, and it worked out to about 40 yards. I think most would agree a #7.5 doesn't have a lot of potential left pas ...

What would you take for your barrel?

Sorry it took so long for me to see this. You could shoot me a crazy offer if you like, but I'd rather trade it.

I can't help with load data, but what do you mean they ejected with more authority? A sweet 16 should eject the same distance no matter if it is a 7/8 poof load, or a 1 1/4 ounce magnum.

I'm guessing you are asking about smokeless loads, which I have not tried. Those muzzleloader 209's work great with black powder, and most of the BP substitutes.

I have a perfect condition 16 gauge 26" plain barrel with improved cylinder choke. I'm not a huge fan of how the light 26" barrel swings, but it sure is fast to target. There is no rust at a ...

Whoa, I see some problems with this. First of all, Bluedot does not equal IMR Blue. Neither manufacturer has ever made that claim, no load data has ever made that claim, and any comparative test has s ...

I read the first post and thought you were making a joke about the bogus marketing label! That load is the exact opposite of a heavy load, it's a light one oz for the 16 gauge, and it's going slow. It ...

Seems kind of odd they would name a wad tungsten propulsion system, when not intended for tungsten shot. Laughing

I'm fairly sure Mylar is a brand name of polyethylene. I believe they are one and the same.

I've heard of the pressure increase, but I've never seen the data that shows it. For the most part now w ...
