I initially didn't look closely at the 2 wads. I noticed Prec. Reload. had slits cut, and was rated at 15/16 oz., while B.P.'s CSD wad had no slits and was rated at 7/8 ounce.

They look the same... ...

Are you sure the two wads are the same? I've not closely compared them, but the CSD listed on Ballistic Products is for a 7/8 load and no slits, and Precision Reloading is for 15/16 load with slits. ...
