PostForum: 16ga. Guns Wanted or For Sale   Posted: Tue Jan 03, 2012 5:27 pm   Subject: 16 gauge English Stensby
I saw a fairly nice sixteen double boxlock by Stensby for sale at Tanners Guns in Bucks Co. PA the other day for $650. They might let it go for less. It's slightly loose and has a small dent midway do ...

I'd be very interested in more information about th ...

If I owned a SXS that broke even one striker at 5000 or less, I'd be POed. That isn't typical.
If you have an interest in a SXS, you should pursue it. They haven't replaced all the guns in my safe, b ...

Yesterday I drove 80 miles to Cabelas in Hamburg, PA to see a 16 gauge RB sidelock AYA. At $4295 I wasn't expecting perfection but I was expecting more than I found. The left lock-plate was way proud ...

Well, I've had all configurations of the BDA and have come to prefer the Twentyweight. With plain barrel they weigh around 6 lbs. Anything more than a 1 oz. load can be punishing. I have one with a ve ...

This is pretty amusing. A BDA 16 gauge that weighs 6 lbs. 6 ozs. and some think it's an improvement on the BDA Twentyweight that weighs 6 lbs. even. Weird, really weird.

Some of the foregoing posts are the reason that I come to this site less and less. A lack of self control is never fun to see, particularly in a man. One might think that even a thin slice of self res ...

Looks very nice, Charles. In fact it looks exactly like my Twentyweight that weighs exactly 6 lbs. with an Old English recoil pad and non-rib barrel. The same gun with it's ribbed barrel fitted weighs ...

Charles, I admire your machining skills. When you first proposed building a 16 gauge Double Auto I thought "what a great idea" but now I see that you are just making a 16 gauge barrel to fit ...

I can see by the shape of the forend that your gun is a late production model. That butt pad though is one ugly mother. Surely Browning never did this? I put a nice Old English type on mine. Works wel ...
