No data for 16 anywhere for PP ! Just for s-a-g's , tried a couple loads with my go to fast powder load for 16ga . 14Grns PP , DR , Chedd pr , and my bar drops 365grns shot - rem case.

That helps. I'm not looking for more than 1200 fps, so probably try 14 grains and go from there.

Any pressure tested loads with this combination? I have other powders I can use, but I've got a lot of 700x on hand.

I hunt grouse/woodcock over Springers, and use 1 1/8 #7 handholds. Late season grouse I'll switch to 1 1/8 #6

+1 on the new A5. Well under 6#, even the 28" model. Definitely get some recoil mitigation from the action; felt recoil a bit less than my 7# Rem M31.

I've done 1/2 ounce shot and 8 grains or red dot, or similar fast burning powder, and lots of filler wads in 16g. Could also use those 1 3/4" Aguila shorty shells in 12g, they're not very loud.
