I love my 16 ga 11-48. It cost me less than $250. It was made in 1950 and has been trouble free. They are one of the real sleepers in the used gun market. Enjoy yours.

Try diffferent wads. I did some load testing on a 12 gauge and found that wads made a difference. As I remember, Remington wads tended to pattern tighter and windjammers patterned more open. Win wads ...

My 1959 Sweet 16 is not so picky. Wipe down the tube with a cloth. Put on a drop or two of oil. Smear it around with my hand. Put it back together. Shoot it. Works every time.
