Barkey, that seems like good analysis to me. The only thing I wonder is that supposedly autoloaders rose in popularity following WWII which may affect the numbers.

Again, thanks to everyone for your input. I am strongly leaning towards the Pachmayer Old English pad and will be looking at options at the gunsmith this weekend.
