Looked in Blue Book of Gun Values. I don't believe Remington ever made a 16 ga. Left Hand 1100.

Ok. I'll answer my own question. According to Blue Book of Gun Values Remington did not make the 16 ga. 1100 in left hand.

Ok. I must admit that I've never shot steel loads at upland birds so I'm out of my element here. I see your point re: mid-long range pheasants. But I'm used to hunting woodcock in heavy cover and t ...

Thanks for the info. But I won't even use #6's on upland birds because they do some real damage and I'd like to be able to eat the birds I shoot. In lead shot I prefer 7-1/2's. But I don't see anyt ...

Do any shotshell manufacturers offer 16 Ga. Steel Upland Loads? One of the shooting preserves I go to now requires the use of steel or bismouth shot only.
Thanks. Sad

Agreed Ron. The thrill of the hunt not only applies to wild game. The 426 is very appealing to the eye and I am hoping to find one.

I'd like to see a LH 16 ga 1100 as well. I do have two LH 20 Ga. 1100's and would be willing to either buy a 16 ga. LH or swap for one of my 20's. Smile

Wolfchief: When looking thru those old '70's catalogs did they mention that they made the 16 ga. 1100 in Left Hand Models?

I looked through my reference books too. It doesn't seem to be listed there either. The engraving is too ornate to be a 424. Your date of 1965 falls into the dates that the 425 were made but the bo ...

I have 3 left-handed Remington 1100's in the "other" gages, and have used them for duck hunting. Does anyone know if Remington made the older 1100's in a left-handed 16 gage?
Thanks.
