I make a tool that will trim 2.75" hulls down to 2.5" hulls It is driven by a cordless drill or screw driver and will trim 25 hulls in about 5 min. PM me if you want one.

My experience with the Universal 7/8 oz loads was that velocity decreased approximately 50 fps per 0.5 grain reduction, give or take 15-20 fps

It's not too hard to hand sand a firing pin back from blunt or sharp back to smooth and round either. A little time and a little patience.
