Both shotguns are bespoke.
The Bruchet/Darne was to be no more than 6#'s.
Ted apologies for the extra 0.1#'s!
The Fox was to be no more than 5# 13oz.
CSMC clearly exceeded expectations.
Both were manufactured within the last decade or so.
Clearly their are double gun makers in the world today that can make a light double shotgun but there are not many left that do not have to resort to aluminum alloys.-Dick |

I must be accustomed to hauling a 10lb rifle up & down hills, because my 16s seem to weigh an oz one way or other of 6lb 12oz, and they seem plenty light to me. |
