I am looking for some paper 16 gauge hulls. Does Graf not sell them anymore? Are they available somewhere else now?
Thanks in advance,

Did you try PRecision? I was thinking that is where I bought my last lot, but it may have been Graf's. Memory is slipping you know. |

Graf is the only place I've seen them. The paper hulls have been sold out all summer. I should have enough paper hulls for this hunting season but I'm a bit concerned about beyond that. I contacted them a few months ago and the women was not sure if, or when, more paper hulls would come. Give them a call and let us know what you find out. |

I emailed Grafs and the response back states that Cheddite cannot get the paper anymore so they are no longer available.
So...anyone have any they are willing to sell? Please let me know.

From what I understand, you aren't missing much with the paper Cheddites, as they burn thru just above the brass after a couple of reloads. |

That is a shame as I've been shooting paper hulls for all my upland hunting for many years. For me paper hulls was never about how many times they could be reloaded. We have plustic hulls if that is the concern. I just liked them because they're old school and nothing beats the smell and smoke on a cool, crisp morning as the fired hull is ejected. I'll need to double check the reloading supply room but I know I don't have as many as I'd like. I'd also be interested if someone has some they would be willing to sell. |

I have a couple boxes of Imperial CIL (Cheddite) paper 16 gauge either new or reloaded from 60's/70's, some of which I now have reduced to empties. I know some are reloads I got with a 1949 Ithaca M37 I recently restored, Alcan powder if I remember.
PM me, perhaps we can work a deal. |

I'll wager you shoot one of those worthless fragile doubleguns too. Some people.
Cheers

I just looked and I am down to one box of, new primed 16 Gauge Federal papers. I will use them in my Citori.
I know what you mean about the smell of papers, nothing like them.
I have about 1,000 once fired Federal 12 Gauge papers. A little more work, but I like them. I used to use them for trap shooting, haven't used any in about a year.
If you guys are still shooting those old SxS's, you really should upgrade. Too bad you got sucked into those things, bad deal all around. |

Yep. Just a bunch of rubes lured by the piper's magical doublegun music.
Cheers

Not going to happen.
I've talked with Alex and Morris both.
Simple answer is they don't sell components. |

But do they buy their components? Could you get them from their source if one was so inclined? |

What's a sxs? Never heard of 'em. If it's not a plastic stocked clackety clack or interia driven hyper drive butterfly valved auto, I'm not interested. |
