I received one of these Mossberg 16 ga. bolt action shotguns for my 13th birthday -- 57 years ago. I still have it, and try to take it hunting at least annually. It has taken geese, ducks, quail, pheasant, rabbits, and lots of squirrels. The adjustable choke has worked well.

The Model 190 has a smooth receiver, with no obstruction in view to the bead. I THINK the 390K has a raised flattop piece on the receiver kinda where a rear sight might be located on a rifle.
hunter34, you can correct me if I'm wrong here in regard to the 390k. |
