I need to change the safety on my model 12 cause I'm lefthanded. A guy says that all I have to do is take the safety that is in it now and reverse it. Does he know what he's talking about or do I need to buy a left-handed safety for it?

Never heard of reversing the stock safety to make it left hand on a 12... I know you CAN do this with some guns, but I'm not sure about a model 12.
Here's another proposition:

Bid is up to $32 so far, which IMO is a little high, but if you wait, one should come along later, with fewer competing bidders.
Also, the enlarged safety head is much more functional, JMO of course.
