Gentlemen,
I received the following email from a duck hunting friend. I've never owned a 16 870, can we point him in the right direction?
Thanks, --Doug
Doug
I have a Remington 870 Wingmaster pump 16 that was my first big boy gun. It has sentimental value to me, but I'd also like to shoot it. I'm sure I bought it around 1957. It has a blue barrel and receiver; does not have a ventilated rib, and since there were no choke tubes back then I put a Cutts poly choke on it. Bottom line I'd like to get another barrel, but it has to be blue, not matte black. If I can't find one with choke tubes, I'd prefer an IC barrel. Any ideas as to how I can start a search? Hope all is well.
Best regards,
Jim |

Doug , 1st , thanx for keeping the BEST site going !... these barrels come up on gunbroker every - so - often . Need PATIENCE , unless someone here has one to give . Believe the last plain barrel I saw went for around $125 . |

I will keep my eyes open for a barrell. Most of us do quite a bit of surfing and checking out gun places. Good luck & Good Shooting RB |

Just for clarification, There is no Cutts poly choke! It's either a Cutts or it is a PolyChoke. They are two different brands. |
