Nick,
I'm sorry for your loss. I know from our conversations that Ole Ben was quite a character and a major influence on you.
Godspeed.

Nick, sorry to hear about Ben. Like Steve, I missed Ben, Griff, and you this year.
But Griff was there at the Flatwater, the one that got the do right slip.(warning ticket)

Nick, my sympathies for the loss of your friend. Once I saw your posting, I went back and viewed the video on the Oct 2008 hunt/trip to Standing Rock where I first met Ben. He was an affable man and full of "piss & vinegar". He will be missed.

Charles,
As usual I am late getting the news about Ole Ben. My deepest sympathies for your loss. You need to go out and get yourself a good hunting pup and name it Ben. It will be him incarnate... you can start over with 'New Ben' and talk to him about all the good times you had together. -Doug |

Losing a mentor/friend is never easy. Forever in your heart, forever in your teaching of others.
