I've never seen or even heard of a Browning BSS in 16 ga. Don't think the Miroku factory ever made any. The BSS models came in 12s, 20s, and (I think but could be mistaken) a few 28 ga models.
The OP's description and asking price of $1.5K tells me this gun is most probably a GR I, Citori Upland O/U model w/ 24" barrels. 26" or 28" barrels would make it a Superlight. |

You are correct 16gaugeguy , the BSS was 12 and 20 ga only , and the asking price would be a little north of what I'd consider paying for a BPS . However , a little more clarity by the OP would have been dandy so we didn't have to divine what he meant . I've been telling my wife for 22 years I ain't clairvoyant , and it applies here too |

No problem. I once met a gal named Claire Voyant at a local watering hole. I offered to buy her a drink in hopes of jumping her bones. She saw right thru me. |

That price is high I bought one two months ago for $1600. Google the MODEL number and you will find there are a lot of these for sale |

I think we've hijacked the OP's thread long enough. I strongly suggest the OP repost his original and remove this one. Perhaps the rest of us will then let him have a chance of moving his gun w/o all the butting in.
Just sayin'... and my apologies for my part in this matter. In spite of my good intentions, I should have known better. |
