The FAA issued a CAUTION to all Pilots and Up-Land bird hunters who,
like RevDoc, may consider using a "Performance Enhancing" substance known as the Blue Pill ( I've noticed a lot of talk about this subject here lately)
The FAA's main concern is when the Blue Pill is used in conjunction with other supplements like Geritol to increase iron level in the blood.
It has been reported that with high blood iron levels, when the Blue pill
causes it's intended reaction many men uncontrollably turn and face
(point) NORTH.
The problem is obvious for pilots. Less obvious for bird hunters. Those of you who are planning to hunt pheasants in SW Kansas must remember that the prevailing wind is from the south. Flushed wild pheasants will most likely turn and fly INTO the wind. If you are uncontrollably facing North.....
Well you get the picture.
Good luck with the pheasants and choose your ammo and supplements
wisely.

I have a hunting buddy that was accidentally ( some say intentionally) shot in the ass with a steel duck load. He now rotates to face the South whenever the Aurora Borealis lights up. |
