Purchased from a long-time Baker collector, this 16 ejector gun is as nice as any around and is original. 16 ga. BBS's are rare and even rarer with ejectors. With no factory records available, a guess as to production date (SN 38XX) would be about 1921, and BBS's were all special-ordered, according to a well-known Baker collector.
Features 28" tubes choked C/IC with two ivory beads, easily 90% blue on barrels and frame, double triggers, pistol grip stock, nicely figured wood, splinter with strong checkering on both, 14+" LOP over a period correct pad.
Functions flawlessly and has bright bores. Seven pictures available upon request via email.
$2500 plus shipping and insurance for value to FFL outside VA, or FTF in VA
(WITHDRAWN ). |

I sent a PM for pics. Do you have the weight and stock dimensions? Thanks George |

For those who have inquired, stock dimensions are as follows:
14-1/4" LOP over pad,
1-3/4" DAC,
2" DAH.
Estimated weight---6-1/2#
I did notice something that should be noted that I omitted in my description- someone has very lightly scribed what appears to be a SS# on the inside of the forend iron and on the edge of the watertable. Both are invisible when the gun is assembled, and both could be covered with cold blue. |
