Hi All - I've stumbled across the site here and decided to register after lurking briefly.
My first shotgun is an H&R Topper in 16 ga. - my sentimentality for the gauge starts here and is directly linked to my first shotgun. I still own the original box of shells bought to accompany it under the tree that Christmas. Overall, I wish I had the shots to kill ratio I have using it. I'm sure the bag limits of today would be different...
I have been recently attacked by the "Classic Double" bug and have started doing my research - which brought me here. I notice there's a very nice feel about this board and I can see there's not too much BS in any of the topics I've read so far.
I hope to contribute where I can and learn in the process.
Anyway, Hi!

I think you will really enjoy the 16 society and the people on it. It seems they are a great bunch of people and also have a very good sense of humor. I also had a Topper back in the early 60's |

I'd just like to add that I received it back in 1983 or 4 so I'm not new to hunting/shooting, just this forum. |
