If I remember, the badgers were not the problem. In the 50's and 60's, the Hodags were the problem, but maybe not so much anymore.

The movie Blazing Saddles is now 40 years old. Uses the same line, definitely funnier.

I spent many enjoyable hours of my youth searching for the elusive Hodag (mostly while catching undersize muskies)! I envy you in Crandon, at least during Louisiana summers

Let's say "Mature". Treasure of the Sierra Madre was a wonderful, great, movie, starring Bogart, John Huston. and Tim Holt. The bandit scene is a classic in American film making.

Blazing saddles was a comedy, no comparison between the two.

This winter was the coldest and most snow in history up here. Crandon in summer, Louisiana in winter. Cool RB
