Contact Midwest Gun Works in Missouri.

They redid a Superposed for me and it was the most outstanding piece of Gunsmithing I have ever had done. Or send it to Turnbull

It will look just like it came from the factory.
Bachelder also does exceptional work.

Kearcher in Oregon is fabulous and fast.

I probably should not share this information as these folks are already too busy. Mark Beasland, mentioned above, is also great. All these folks are top notch.

Jeff

Personally, I would not re-case color it . A grade engraving will stand on its own. Here is my A grade 16 Fox with reblued barrels and trigger guard and pad added for more length.

James Flynn in La is doing just that to an A Grade w 30'' tubes for me as we speak .
I had him leather cover a microcell pad to add LOP . Microcell pad weighs less than 2ozs . Be careful what pad you add to the butt . Some will throw the balance of the gun way off . Ask me how I know ? Embarassed

I would love to have 30" barrels on a 16 ga. I have 8 16's--6 with 28", one with 26" and a really nice Sterlingworth that some dufus cut to 26.5".
I bet they handle great!

Buck Hamlin in Pevely, MO has restored several Fox and Lefever SxS's for me and does wonderful work. However, he is usually very busy, and 12 month lead time is normal. But worth the wait....

I have a Westley Richards drop lock in 16 gauge with 30 inch barrels. It is all original never having been restored and it was made in 1932. It has 95 % blueing, 90% case colors, and 85% wood finish. If interested contact me at bcdedd@gmail.com and I can send pictures. Price is $15, 900.
