I haven't had a convenient chance to compare for myself. Does anyone have any thoughts or observations of the relative merits of the 16ga offerings from these two loaders?
Thanks |

Polywad produces spreader loads designed mostly for bird hunting at ranges less than ideal for tightly choked barrels. RST produces different types of loads for multiple uses.
Question: what type of load and performance are you looking for and for what purpose? |

I was mostly curious about thoughts on quality, etc when equivalent loads are compared between the two suppliers. The linked thread got me the info I needed.
I have far more experience with pistols and rifles than shotguns and my experience with small loading companies is that it's best to find out a bit before wasting money on ammo that's junk. |

I've used quite few Polywad Spreader inserts to load my own ammo. They are top notch IMO. I've never shot any of their factory loads. Even so, the company personnel are among the friendliest and most helpful I've ever had the pleasure of speaking with. Others here have reported the quality is excellent. I'm not at all surprized.
Same for RST. I've heard nothing but good things about it. I think you are on very safe ground with either. |
