I've run out of PB, cant get unique or anything else around these parts.
Now I do have a can of 700x, so I went to the 16ga load chart and found some 1oz recipes for 700x.
I tried... Win polys 14.3 700x, win 209, BPISG-16 (or commanders) ona MEC 600 jr.
The shot doesnt fill the cup well even after measured to exactly 1oz so the crimp dishes badly.
Any ideas ??? |

IMR only lists 6-16ga recipes for 700x and they all use the same wad ??? |

Cheerio on top of the shot. BTW, what was your PB recipe?

16.5 gr PB in Win poly , win 209, BP commander, 1oz
Excellent pattern, low pressure for my old SXS |

I use a Honey Nut Cheerio in the bottom of the shot cup , then add the shot . Someday I'll be able to detect the honey , nutty infusion in a dove |

skeetex - you know how easy it is to get a cheerio - not always so easy right now to get those proper wads fast ! jeez , I've begun a cereal revolution in western NY , - not bashful about it ! |

The issue is 14.0 grains of 700-X. It does not build enough wad column.
I have used loads similar to this, it needs a spacer. A nitro card is best but, some like to play with their food........... |
