311s tend to run heavy. Usually in the 7 pound plus range, however, they are very stout and will handle all commercially loaded ammunition currently available with the exception of steel in tightly choked barrels. |

Have a311A 16ga, bought a replacement stock from Boyd's, cut off the offensive pistol grip, reworked it into a pretty straight grip, professionally checkered. Weighs in at 7lbs and a fraction.
Its my favorite gun for ducking (HeviShot reloads) its a tight M/F choke, have not seen any damage, and don't expect to, built heavy and tuff. Ideal weight for heavy loads.
Picture of it and myself over on the Shooting Sportman site (the one with the map showing location, etc. (Dave Feiger, John Day, OR). |

How about a link, or a "how to find it"? Looked for your pic but couldn't find the map, etc, over on the SSM site.
