No offense intended to anyone.
I've given up on a 525 Sporting, but, please understand that it has nothing to do with the lower barrel firing pin/ftf issue; after all, I do have a Gran Lightning in 16 ga; love the gun, despite the alleged issues. And so I am now respectfully burying the 525 WTB thread that I so inadvertently started.
Will Browning come out with one?
I'll be first in line. |

I have a 525 Grand lighting - 32" with Brown, Briley , and Muller chokes. Not for sale though. I looked for a long time for a 30" but when the 32 came about I jumped on it like stink on a skunk. |

Is this a field gun or a sporting clays? Could you post some pics? Never seen one and wonder if its a special order gun? |

Don't hold your breath--IMO the 525 was THE best designed of them all---I have a 525 w/32" -never had a ftf---it misses a target though The 725's seem to recoil too much for me. |

I saw that ad a long time ago when I started looking for my Citori 525 Sporting in 16 Gauge. The gun came with Midas Chokes, but only one in Skeet and my understanding was that the Invector Plus was only available in 12 and 20 gauge and that regular Invectors were used in the 16 Gauge. That is also what Trulock sold me so that I could have two identical skeet chokes in the gun as well as the Cylinder Bore choke that I also purchased. Is the IV+ mention in the ad a typo?

It must be a typo cause Invector + was never made for 16 ga. |
