I am looking for a nice 16 gauge citori or similar o/u. I have a nice 1100 16 gauge with 28" modified barrel I can trade against or pay cash out right. Just let me know what and how much.
Thanks. |

I have found a few new guns for around $1500. I was just hoping to find a nice used one at a good price. I was just given around 500 misc 16 gauge shells and it reignited my 16 need. Thanks for looking out. |

Good luck in your search. I was also in the market for both a 16 Gauge 1100 and a 16 Gauge O/U. Found a late model 16 Gauge 1100 Field with a Rem Choke 28" Vent Rib Barrel, unfired, but had to pay $1,200.00 to get it after recently buying two Brand New In The Box 1100s in 12 and 20 Gauge - Sporting Models for just under $1,000.00 each. Also twice someone tried to scam me by sending pictures of a gun they supposedly were selling, but that was from someone else's long gone ad. Since it is common practice that sellers don't trust buyers and always want payment in advance, I try to either buy something I can go and see first, or buy from a reputable shop or person (like with hundreds of posts on an appropriate forum) or only pay with PayPal.
Found a never fired, Browning Citori 525 Sporting in 16 Gauge. 30" Barrels with Midas Chokes, in Texas. The retail sticker on the box said $2,899.00 but I had to pay $3,000.00 to get it. At least it appears that 16 Gauge shotguns will hold value.
These two guns are my first 16s and I love them and the gauge.

That's a nice one. Has the desirable long tang and nicely light for a basic Citori. |

Thanks Skeet, I originally bought that Gun from a member and would like to sell it to a member, besides picking up a new to me 28 and .410 I always use my Super lite feather so this gun is ready to be used, the little dent in the rib does not interfere with shooting and I think it happened when I shipped it to Midwest, they make a tool to fix it but being someone that needs three tries to get it right I thought I'd deduct it from the price, like I said no reasonable offer will be refused. I am open to the trade on that gun. |

Thanks to all who have replied. I am currently seeking one out now from a board member. I really like the 28" barrels as I am a tall guy and like the added weight. Keep 'em coming. Skeettx i will hopefully see you tuesday. |
