We just recieved a new Dicks Sporting Goods in Muncie. We recieved a coupon in the mail, if you spend $25 you get $10 off. My wife and I went in and ask if we could use the coupon on ammo and the gentleman said we could, so we purchased 4 boxes of 16ga rgl's-7 1/2 shot for $23 (with tax) |

Just about every coupon that Dick's sends out has fine print that says can not be used for firearms or ammunition. They make their money on clothes and shoes. I haven't seen 16 ga. RGL's in our local store in 5 years. |

You're right about the fine print, but I've asked on several occassions and was always allowed to buy shells with the coupon. Once I had one that clearly said $10 off on 12 and 20 gauge. I asked the clerk if i could use it on 16's and he said no problem. They are actually pretty loose on the restrictions. |

I went to Dick's yesterday and they didn't have squat. They sell mostly 20's and 12's. I was on my way back from Gander Mountain looking for 16 7.5's or smaller and all they had were 4's. It's gotten so you have to use the internet to get what you want and you have to plan ahead. Maybe my loading experiment this winter will be the beginning of the solution.
