I often read about our members whom have a great day either hunting, shooting clays or skeet. I had one of those wonderful days yesterday. I shot my best round of sporting clays ever with my sweet 16 at a small course about 1 hour from I live near St. Louis, Mo. I have had to repair the stock by the Mid-West Gun people and the really good work if you have problems with a Browning. Any way back to my round it just a beautiful fall day with the colors changing on the trees. I was able to shoot a 92 out of 100 on my favorite course and this was the first round of clays I have ever shot with this gun. It has a 25 1/2 inch cutts compensator barrel it just nostalgic gun to shoot with that configuration. And it was just one of the best days I have ever spent on a sporting clays course. And wanted to share it with the guys and gals who truly understand how much fun it is to shoot well with one of very special 16 gauge guns ever made. |

Was it any bit distracting scrounging around for those precious empties thrown about the course? Apparently not,... a 92 with a classic vintage gun nearly all current competitors wouldn't dream of using!!! Holy crushed target Batman!!
Love those old classics. Own a couple or three myself. |

Great score! I have way too many shotguns but if I have to actually count on hitting targets I grab my 1950 Sweet. The gun I was brought up on and learned to shoot when I was 13. It's more than a gun, its an old friend.

Carl Icahn destroyed TWA. I hope you meant to say iconic.
Otherwise, great post! |

Outstanding round with a great gun. Those Cutts add character and utility. Which choke tube did you use? |
