<  16ga. Ammunition & Reloading  ~  2 1/2 " low pressure load using DR Wad

Does anyone have a low pressure load for 2 1/2 " Hull, federal Ched of Fio, using the DR -16 wad??

that wad is a long column wad for light loads in 2-3/4" hulls. I would be surprised if it fit very well in a short 16ga hull.

It fits 65mm hulls as well. Ole Ben and have loaded the dr even in 63.5 mm hulls

I load this standard 2 3/4" loading in the cheddite hull cut down to 2.5" and it fold crimps fine.

7/8 oz
International
15.8 gr
Win 209
DR 16
1150
6200

These are according to the spreadsheets on the vel and pressure. You can also roll crimp this with no changes.

Good suggestion all. I'll give them a try. Not a god time of the year to have pressure testing done though,. My experience has been is that hunting ting season does get in the way,
