HI I am new here so don't beat me up too bad. lol
I make shotgun ammo and just had a customer request some 16ga low pressure loads for waterfowl. He will not shoot steel and wants a 2 1/2" shell that he can use in his new gun as well as his old Damascus Dbl Bbl.
I like the ITX shot but don't have load data for this. BPI says they don't test for Damascus guns.
Any help out there? "They" say that the 16ga answers are here.
Thanks |

sorry I didn't read close enough. I don't shoot 2.5" shells. I will pull down my list. |

Cheddite 2 1/2" 3/4 oz PB 18.0 Ched 209 DR 16 1254 7,580 Dave Miller 16 gauge forum
Here is one load that a member had tested using 18 grains of PB and 3/4oz ITX.
Here is another one.

If you go out and read the spreadsheets, you will understand the loads better.
Scroll down on the sheets and you will find the ITX loads.
The few that there are. Also I imagine you could load some of the 2 3/4oz loads in a 2 1/2" hull if you roll crimped them. You would have to check as far as how the components fit.
You have to join and I have to approve you, but that is no problem as long as you're not from China or North Korea. |

Well, those ITX loads are mine and I'm going to try them on eiders tomorrow from a couple of hammer Husky's.
It's worked on Old Squaws well enough from Pieper hammer guns, so we'll see... |
