Took the dogs out for a quick workout at the farm yesterday afternoon and came across a picked clean carcass. Walked up assuming it was a wounded or sick doe the coyotes had taken down and found this attached.

Cleaned up and mounted Bavarian style, that is going to make a fine wall hanger. If you can find the lower jaw w/ teeth, the state guys can probably tell you about how old this one was when it died. |

I found one, not quite as nice....and put it in my garden in the back yard. Once my wife recovered and got used to it she actually liked the look of it with vines and flowers growing around and through it. I
t took a number of years but eventually the chipmunks wore the rack don to nubbins.

very cool,hopefully he bred the heck out of the local does and there are lots of his genes in the mix.I would bet old age as well and those teeth are worn down pretty good.
They say another buck will move in to the spot the old guy left. |
