Better photos of all the proof marks would help. Date German guns are date coded. At one time they were stamped with numerically with the month and year so 1077 might be the date code for October 1977. At some point they switched to letters by the proof house stamp as a date code.
Google German proof stamps and date code and you should find some good links. |

Hello scarface
Welcome on your first posting
This should NOT be an issue
First see here
http://www.shotguns.se/html/germany.html
Pleased you posted your first picture, now if you could provide
more proof mark photos that would really help us help you.
Valid from 1922-1939
730
7.30
or
7/30 Date mark, in this case July 1930. Can be used from 1912 but was not a legal demand before 1922.
Valid from 1952-(1971) 1992
975 Date mark, in this case September 1975. Note that the letter combination as in item 21 was valid to use already 1971, but not commonly used.
Mike
p.s. 1077 is October of 1977 perhaps, possibly, maybe, we shall see |

Thank you Gentleman for your quick response and knowledge , it looks like the shotgun was made in October 1977, no C&R eligible, I don't have possession of the gun yet, that's why I need your help to determine that, I will post more photos later |

Welcome to the site, Scarface.
If that's the 1077 next to the little shield mark, then it's almost certainly an October 1977 gun. The shield mark is one of the more recent Suhl proofmarks and they put the date next to the shield.
Off the top of my head my recollection of the changeover from all numbers to letters and numbers, when it comes to date codes, is that it came about after reunification, i.e., post 1990.
OTOH, Belgian guns have long used letters to date the guns, but this is most definitely NOT a Belgian gun.
And permit me to make a bad joke - when you gonna let us say hello to your little friend? |
