I was going through my load data and realized I don't have any 2 5/8 or 2 1/2 remmy loads. Anyone willing to pm me some or guide me to a source? |

Most any data for 3/4oz or 7/8 oz ( except using the Dr-16 wad with 7/8oz ) will fit in the Rgl 2 5/8 with no problem . |

I know I will find out myself in the next month or so, but why not ask: Do you just get a less tight crimp cover (a hole in the middle)?
I've read the same thing, that you can use the same load data without concern, but if the shot column is the same, how do you get the same volume in the hull? The universal can not just make up the difference! |

Agreed, few if any RGL hulls I have are actually 2 3/4" long. I have them separated into 2 batches for crimp set-up, long & short bins. Then just tape a washer on the crimp station when crimping the shorties.
"but if the shot column is the same, how do you get the same volume in the hull?"...wad seat pleasure/breaking the legs of the wad a little. |

I know a lot of guys like to seat the wad at zero pressure . I pop the wad which generally eliminates the crushed cases down near the brass - doesn't allow the wad legs to assist the cases resistance to squatting when crimping . |
