Can anybody tell me if there is any pressure difference in a roll crimp as opposed to a fold crimp using the same components. I think I read someplace that roll crimps offer a few hundreds P.S I. lower pressure difference. Any help would be appreicated

In loads I have tested (all 2.75 fold loads put in short hulls and rolled)
have been much lower pressure. Some over 1,000 psi. |

Hootch, thank you for this. I am going to try my hand at rool crimping. This info eases a lot of concerns about pressures. I will also send some roll crimped loads to Tom Armbruster for testing. Again thank you.
