Pumpgun,
Put away all the other shootin' irons son, and shoot that 16 GAUGE with the new wad, from Mr. Hammack and Downrange.
If we all would shoot our shotguns as much as we shoot our mouths off on this website, a case of wads shouldn't last anyone of us more than half a season!!!
Heck me and old 16 GG oughta be worth 4 cases a year each, at our rate of yacking and arguing. |

DogChaser37 & 16GG
Here, here, yea verily
I went out last evening after work and shot 4 rounds of skeet.
What fun, what fun.
Even though it was not a 16 gauge night, here is what I shot.
L.C. Smith Grade 3 old twist barrel gun with 20 gauge Briley tubes,
American Arms Brittany 20 gauge, straight stock,
and a Remington 3200 with 20 gauge Briley tubes.
Shot the Smith on first and fourth rounds.
GREAT Fun
Enjoy the day

I hear you, Ron.
Ole Skeettx over there, has that warm Texas sun going for him.
You and I will be happy to see 40 degrees.
We got some last weekend here in CT, but it went right back to freezing at night here.
Gonna shoot some on Sunday, it is skeet league time. |

Yeah I have been thinking about the Marlin 90 and the Double Auto as of late.
Was even thinking about the proverbial lifetime hull .
Boy I have got to stop thinking.
The bio was was voted down here on the form, majority rules no bio wads.
Best Regards. Nick |

Speaking of the lifetime hull, friends who've gone to Argentina to shoot doves have told me that Activ factory shells (under a different name) are common there, at least in 12 and 20 gauge. It seems that someone bought the tooling and shipped it down. I'm wondering if they took the 16 gauge molds also. Something to look into?

Worth looking into? Absolutely. Surely some enterprising individual would be willing to gather up once fired hulls by the thousand around the dove shoots. The import tariffs may or may not be an inhibiting factor. Of course, this assumes that the 16 ga. rendition exists. |
